Sean Lawing

Assistant Professor of History / Dept. Chair of History and Social Sciences

Dr. Lawing teaches medieval history, German, and Old Icelandic literature. In addition, he teaches a course on World War II-era Germany and one on European folk- and fairy tales. His research focuses on medieval Scandinavia (Vikings!), particularly Old Norse laws and sagas.
