Dr. Cavallo teaches upper level courses in Bryn Athyn’s Psychology program including Research Methods, Neuropsychology, Cognitive Psychology, and Psychological Tests & Measurements.

Dr. Cavallo is employed as a full-time school psychologist at a local public school district and has been a consultant for the QuietMind Foundation for the past 11 years, specializing in neurofeedback and neuropsychological assessment. His research interests include neuropsychology, neurofeedback, and neurocognitive interventions for Specific Learning Disabilities, ADHD, and Autism.

Dr. Cavallo earned his Ph.D. in School Psychology from Temple University and has been supervising graduate students from Widener University’s clinical psychology program for the past 14 years. Dr. Cavallo also serves as a team leader for the BrainSTEPS program in Philadelphia, which provides consultative services in collaboration with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to students returning to school following a concussion or traumatic brain injury. He also earned a diplomate from the American Board of School Neuropsychology. Dr. Cavallo has provided many professional presentations both locally and internationally to school staff and parents on various topics related to assessment, special education, neurofeedback, and evidence-based interventions.
