Education
Sarah began her career teaching young children in a private school setting. But the need to “do more” tugged at her heart strings and it is through her Masters program in Early Childhood Special Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, that she found her calling. Over the past 12+ years, she worked in various special education settings and held leadership roles as teacher mentor and supervisor. She has witnessed the power of early intervention in helping young children with exceptionalities reach their full developmental potential. Sarah is now thrilled to share her passion for serving and advocating on behalf of children with exceptional needs, within her college classroom.
