Don't leave your path to chance—choose it!
Tools for Life creates a space and place for you to breathe, connect, and think big about your path beyond high school. Rooted in the Bible and its inner meaning through the Heavenly Doctrine, Tools for Life is not your ordinary pre-college summer camp; it’s deeper. This immersive experience at Bryn Athyn College of the New Church gives you the launchpad to navigate what lies ahead. You’ll leave with:
- A clearer sense of who you are—and the freedom that comes from walking with the Lord
- Life skills for success with college, careers, and relationships
- Connections to mentors, professionals, and peers—for life
Explore and discover.
What matters most is knowing you have choices—and we’re here to help you build the life skills to make them.
Bring a friend. Or a few. And build your tools for life—together.
Past destinations and activities have included:
- College Tours (such as UPenn, Rutgers, Haverford, Temple)
- Career Visits (from The New York Times to world-renowned hospitals)
- Workshops (on building relationships, networking, and decision-making)
- Community Service (land stewardship at Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust)
- Day-in-the-Life (preview of college “dorm life” and making the most of it)
- Fun & Friendship (“Dinner Date Night,” off-campus adventures, recreational outings)
Parents, this is more than a summer camp.
We offer an opportunity for more clarity, confidence, and character-building and the kind of experience that pays dividends for years to come. Your teenager can return with direction, purpose, and lifelong friends.
