Ali Durand is a graduate of the Academy of the New Church Secondary Schools and earned an associate degree in Math and Science from Bryn Athyn College of the New Church before completing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Technology, at James Madison University. Ali gained an understanding of the entrepreneurial life through her family’s businesses in transportation, manufacturing, and retail. She has extensive experience navigating a wide range of professional environments. For the past 14 years, Ali has owned and operated her own business while raising her children, and since 2016 she has served as the Director of the Tools for Life summer camp. She brings a practical, real-world perspective to her work grounded in hands-on leadership, adaptability, and a deep commitment to helping students prepare for life beyond the classroom.
