About
Allyssa has a professional background spanning both K–12 and higher education, She
brings a strong commitment to assessment, data-informed decision making, and institutional
improvement. She has served as an English and Social Studies teacher, department head,
as well as an instructional coach and a K-12 program coordinator in school settings
across Philadelphia. In these roles, she partnered with faculty and leadership to
design and implement initiatives aligned with institutional goals, using both quantitative
and qualitative data to support reflection and drive continuous improvement.
In addition to her K–12 experience, Allyssa has taught history and education courses
as an adjunct professor at Cairn University. Her work across educational contexts
has fostered a deep understanding of faculty collaboration, program review processes,
and meaningful assessment practices, all grounded in a commitment to improving student
learning and institutional effectiveness.
