Biography

Mr. Carswell has taught courses in elementary school, high school, college and graduate school. He served as an school adminstrator, Dean of the Theological School, Academy-wide Vice Chancellor and pastor of several New Church congregations. For a year and a half he served as interim Bryn Athyn College of the New Church president. He returns to the classroom at the invitation of Dr.Sofia Castro-Hernandez to teach a course on Psychology and Spirituality.

Accomplishments

Mr. Carswell served in many challenging leadership positions through out his career.

Areas of Expertise/Interest

Pastoral Counseling, leadership, team-building, psychology and history. Mr. Carswell also enjoys woodworking, gardening and time with his adult children and grandchildren.
