Melodie began her secretarial career years ago (1975) in the Bryn Athyn College Office as a student worker. She returned to the College in the role of Executive Assistant to the President in 2016. She now works in the Office of Integrated Institutional Effectiveness. In the interim, Melodie has worked in just about every other office on the extended campus of the Academy/General Church. At Bryn Athyn Church School, she served as the Principal's Secretary, taught 7th grade girls and boys, 7th and 8th grade science, 8th grade algebra, and was the Technology Coordinator. Melodie also worked for 8 years at General Church Education, the central office for education in General Church schools, where she led curriculum development and assisted with teacher support.
