On Tuesday, April 17, Assistant Vice President of Financial Aid and Enrollment Management, Brian Keister, along with students Chantal Farmer and Amber Wood represented Bryn Athyn College at AICUP’s Annual Student Aid Advocacy Day at the Capitol. AICUP stands for the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, and this was an event that brought a number of private colleges and universities together in Harrisburg to meet with our legislators and advocate for state financial aid. This is a particularly difficult time for Pennsylvania students who are bracing for a reduction in state aid this upcoming year, and our representatives from Bryn Athyn College made the trip in the hopes that their efforts and those of their colleagues are taken into consideration during state budget talks. For anyone interested in the event or advocating for our students, please visit AICUP Student Aid Advocacy Day for more information.
