The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at Bryn Athyn College executed another successful toy drive to wrap up 2024. All of the generous donations are sent to the Hatboro Toys for Tots Program. This program aims to provide as many Christmas gifts for underserved communities as they can every December. Over the past few weeks, a variety of toys were received with drop off locations during multiple sporting events including the schools ice hockey games, as well as men's and women's basketball games.
Ramona Walters, head coach of Bryn Athyn College’s women’s lacrosse team, discussed her praise of the service:
“This annual SAAC event has become a tradition for our campus community. Charity is a fundamental tenet to who we are and our mission here at Bryn Athyn College, and Toys-for-Tots is an amazing campaign that allows us the opportunity to serve our community during the holiday season. On behalf of SAAC, we would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation, and we look forward to future endeavors!”
