October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To honor this, Bryn Athyn College athletes and coaches have organized “Pink Games” to spread awareness, where athletes wear pink and fundraise for a variety of breast cancer foundations. Interim Director of Athletics Salvatore Capone comments, "Bryn Athyn Athletics is happy to help support the various organizations that help promote early detection, support for the women and families, and the search for a cure of breast cancer. Teaching our student athletes to help those in a time of need is a core pillar of our Athletic Department Mission.”

The Men's and Women’s Soccer Program wore pink warm-up shirts at their “Fight like a Lion” game on October 7th. Shirts were sold to families and friends, and the proceeds went to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Women’s Volleyball held their Dig Pink game on October 25. The team raised over $200 for the Side Out Foundation by raffling off prize baskets. Women’s Volleyball Coach Amber Wood (BA ‘19) reflects, "I think it is great for the women to have something to play for and inspire them. I look forward to our Dig Pink game every year and so do the women!”
